Drops decision in Vegas
FlyweightUFC
March 7, 2026
Aguilar lost to Su Mudaerji via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 27-30) at UFC 326 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Giving up four inches in height and a ridiculous 10 inches in reach, Aguilar was up against it from the very start here. He predictably struggled to get inside with any consistency, getting picked apart on the feet most of the fight. To make matters worse, Aguilar also allowed Mudaerji to land 4-of-5 takedown attempts. He simply didn't generate enough offensively to win a decision. The good news for Aguilar is that he entered with victories in four of his previous five fights dating back to July 2023 and his roster spot is plenty secure despite the setback.

Mudaerji scheduled next
FlyweightUFC
December 22, 2025
Aguilar is scheduled to compete against fellow flyweight Su Mudaerji at UFC 326 in Las Vegas on March 7, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Mudaerji's upcoming opponent is a on a two-fight win streak with some momentum, but he has been inconsistent, as indicated by his three-fight loss streak before the two-fight win streak. Aguilar has been much more consistent with his recent fights, and he will look to continue his positive momentum (4-1 across his last five bouts) in March.
Improves to 4-1 in past five fights
FlyweightUFC
September 13, 2025
Aguilar defeated Luis Gurule via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Noche on Saturday in San Antonio.
ANALYSIS
This fight was very close and nowhere near as lopsided as some of the striking numbers would lead you to believe. Aguilar closed with an 85-65 edge in total strikes landed, but the entirety of that gap came in Round 1. Gurule was the better man in Rounds 2 and 3, but Aguilar was able to string together a few huge shots late in order to swing the decision in his favor. They've all come against lower-end competition, but Aguilar is now sporting a 4-1 record in his last five fights dating back to July 2023, and his roster spot is plenty secure.
Scheduled for Noche UFC

July 9, 2025
Aguilar is scheduled to compete against fellow flyweight Luis Gurule at Noche UFC in San Antonio on Sept. 13, per Nolan King of MMA Junkie.
ANALYSIS
Aguilar will have a chance to get back into winning ways by defeating Gurule at the annual Noche UFC event. In the former's most recent fight, he lost to Rafael Estevam via unanimous decision. But before the decision loss, Aguilar went on a three-fight winning streak.
Winning streak snapped at three
FlyweightUFC
February 15, 2025
Aguilar lost to Rafael Estevam via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
When we last saw Aguilar last August, he was missing weight prior to earning a first-round submission win over Stewart Nicoll. He had no problems with the scale this evening, but his complete inability to defend a takedown was his ultimate undoing. Aguilar allowed Estevam to connect on 11-of-19 takedown attempts, good for 9:22 worth of control time. Jesus did a nice job of defending from a compromising position, but he simply didn't generate enough offense to potentially pull the upset. Aguilar sees a three-fight winning streak snapped in the process.
Taking on Estevam
FlyweightUFC
December 13, 2024
Aguilar will face Rafael Estevam in a flyweight bout at UFC Vegas 102 on Feb. 15, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Aguilar is red hot, having won three straight fights after dropping his opening UFC bout. His most recent victim was Stewart Nicoll, whom he bested via Guillotine. His opponent Esteveam, meanwhile, is coming off a win in his first ever UFC fight.
