Wyatt Johnston

There was no sophomore slump in 2023-24 for Johnston, as the second-year center put up 32 goals, 33 assists and 216 shots on net over 82 regular-season contests. The 21-year-old also emerged as an all-situations player for the Stars, who had previously been known as a one-line team. Johnston's on a star path already, and he's shown excellent durability by not missing a game over his first two seasons. He could carry his own line, perhaps with fellow top prospect Logan Stankoven, though it's also possible the Stars consider Johnston as an option to fill the spot vacated by Joe Pavelski on the top line. Fantasy managers should expect Johnston's 65-point effort from last season to be his floor moving forward, with a 70-80-point effort being reasonable for 2024-25.
