2024 Fantasy Outlook
Stastney is likely to split the 2024-25 campaign between Nashville and AHL Milwaukee as the first year of his two-year contract is a two-way deal. Stastney played 20 games at the NHL level last season, scoring twice while adding two assists. The defenseman was a plus-9 and had 29 blocked shots with Nashville. He was a force in the AHL as well, scoring five goals and adding 15 assists with a plus-27 rating in 44 appearances. Stastney will battle Jeremy Lauzon and Luke Schenn for ice time on the third pairing, but he is unlikely to see enough time on the ice, barring an injury, to warrant a roster spot on your fantasy team.
