2025 Fantasy Outlook
There’s no question Dickinson has potential. He showed that during the 2024-25 campaign, recording 29 goals and 91 points in 55 regular-season outings with OHL London before adding another nine goals and 31 points across 17 playoff appearances. However, potential alone doesn’t guarantee the 19-year-old a spot on San Jose’s 2025-26 blue line. He’ll certainly get a long look during training camp, but the Sharks added veteran defensemen Dmitry Orlov, Nick Leddy and John Klingberg over the summer, which diminishes the chances of Dickinson making the team. He’s worth keeping an eye on, but don’t be surprised if he gets limited or no use in the NHL this campaign. Read Past Outlooks

ANALYSIS
Dickinson earned his first career multi-point effort by helping out on goals by Macklin Celebrini and Tyler Toffoli in the first period. With five helpers over his last 13 games, Dickinson has found a little more success on offense. The 19-year-old blueliner is at eight points, 38 shots on net, 38 hits, 37 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 42 appearances. He's done a lot of learning on the job this year, but the future remains bright for the 11th overall pick from 2024.

ANALYSIS
Dickinson played in his 10th game of the season against Detroit on Sunday while also scoring his first NHL goal. At 19 years of age, the Toronto native can't play in the AHL yet, so it was NHL or juniors for him this year. Dickinson has served as a healthy scratch three times this year, but he should be in the lineup more often than not the rest of the way.
