Kerins is coming off an excellent campaign. He led AHL Calgary in scoring via his 33 goals and 28 assists across 63 regular-season games. His strong play there earned the 23-year-old his first taste of the NHL, where he delivered four assists in just five outings with the Flames. Now, the 2020 sixth-round pick will battle for a roster spot out of training camp, and his situation is certainly worth monitoring. From his time in juniors onward, he’s produced everywhere he’s played, so fantasy managers in large leagues could certainly do worse than Kerins as a deep sleeper, end-of-the-roster selection. Kerins scored twice and added an assist in AHL Calgary's 5-4 overtime win over Coachella Valley on Sunday.

ANALYSIS
He got a brief stint in the NHL as a reward for his strong start to the year, but Kerins was bumped back to the minors when the Flames claimed John Beecher. That hasn't discouraged Kerins, who has five points over three games since he returned to the Wranglers. The forward is at seven goals, 19 points, 40 shots on net and a plus-2 rating through 16 AHL appearances. He should be an option for call-ups later in the year if the Flames need to replenish their depth.
