ANALYSIS
Schaefer was recalled earlier in the day. The 22-year-old forward was drafted at the end of the first round in 2022 by Edmonton and dealt to Nashville in the Mattias Ekholm trade at the end of February in 2023. Schaefer had four goals and 14 points in 15 AHL games with Milwaukee before his recall.
