Pavel Mintyukov

Mintyukov burst onto the scene with 10 points in his first 14 NHL contests, but as so often happens in Anaheim, the early success didn't last. The defenseman was never outright bad during the remainder of the campaign, but he finished at 28 points in 63 contests and missed 19 outings between two absences for a separated shoulder and a bone bruise in his lower body that ended his season. The good news is that Mintyukov should still be a power-play factor for the Ducks in 2024-25, though he may have to compete with Olen Zellweger for second-unit duties. Mintyukov's offense may not develop smoothly, but he still offers plenty of physicality and should have a chance at top-four minutes, so he's a decent lottery ticket pick for fantasy managers late in drafts.
