He was productive alongside William Karlsson and had some chemistry with Mark Stone. The 23-year-old Dorofeyev will get a chance to secure a top-six role out of training camp following the offseason departures of Jonathan Marchessault and Chandler Stephenson via free agency, making him a possibility for 40-plus points in 2024-25, though he's unlikely to add much outside of the scoring categories.
