In his first three pro seasons, Wiesblatt struggled to find his footing, notching just 35 combined points in 101 AHL games, but that changed last year. The 23-year-old had 15 goals and 25 assists in 64 regular-season games with AHL Milwaukee, and then eight points in 10 postseason games. He suited up in five NHL games throughout the season as well, picking up an assist. The 2020 first-round pick has a chance to make the Predators' roster out of training camp, but he is likely to begin the season in the AHL to attempt to build on his 2024-25 season in the hopes of earning another call-up.
