There was no reason to suggest the Ducks were looking to move Drysdale, but once the Flyers made Cutter Gauthier available in trade in early January, the rearguard was shipped to Philly. Drysdale missed more than a month late in the year due to injury, ultimately finishing with two goals and five points in 24 games with his new club. He then underwent offseason sports hernia surgery but is expected to be fully recovered in time for training camp. Drysdale is still just 22 years of age and has plenty of long-term upside, but his immediate fantasy value will be tied to his ability to earn power-play time for the Flyers this coming season. With Cam York and Travis Sanheim around, there's no guarantee that will happen.
