2024 Fantasy Outlook
While the NHL games weren't there for Othmann last year, he suited up in just three regular-season contests for the Rangers, his scoring touch was on full display in the minors. With AHL Hartford, the 21-year-old winger racked up 21 goals and 28 assists in 67 regular-season appearances before adding another five points in 10 Calder Cup games. The question for fantasy players is whether Othmann has shown enough at the minor-league level to warrant a roster spot heading into the 2024-25 campaign. It's probably a decision that won't be finalized until the closing days of training camp, so Othmann could be a high-risk, high-reward play in early drafts.
