Outside of Calder Trophy winner Connor Bedard, Vlasic was probably the most pleasant surprise for the Blackhawks a season ago. He came out of seemingly nowhere to earn first-pairing defensive minutes for the club, posting two goals, 16 points, 56 hits and 148 blocks in 76 games. Clearly impressed with his contributions, Chicago handed Vlasic a new six-year, $27.6 million contract extension in April. Vlasic doesn't contribute much with the man advantage, meaning his fantasy value is next to nil, but the 23-year-old Illinois native is going to help the Blackhawks win hockey games over the next several years.
