SLATE PREVIEW
Washington, Ottawa, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, the Islanders and Toronto are all playing the second half of a back-to-back, so there are plenty of teams who will be fighting through some degree of fatigue tonight. Meanwhile, Columbus, Edmonton and Seattle will all play Wednesday as well as tonight, which might influence those squads' lineup decisions.
GOALIES
Brandon Bussi, CAR vs. OTT ($7,900): Bussi hasn't been anything close to perfect, but he doesn't need to be to excel with a team like the Hurricanes. As a result, the 27-year-old has an amazing 21-3-1 record and 2.21 GAA despite his good, but not great, .905 save percentage. He's won his past five outings while stopping 100 of 109 shots (.917 save percentage), so Bussi has been better than that recently.
Philipp Grubauer, SEA at ANA ($7,200): Grubauer has an 11-5-3 record, 2.34 GAA and .919 save percentage in 21 outings in 2025-26. He's allowed just five goals on 75 shots (.933 save percentage) across his past three appearances.
VALUE PLAYS
Bobby McMann, TOR at EDM ($5,000): McMann has been held off the scoresheet just once in his past six appearances, supplying three goals and six points over that stretch. As long as he's playing on the top line alongside Auston Matthews, McMann should continue to have value.
Chandler Stephenson, SEA at ANA ($4,900): Stephenson is on a four-game scoring streak in which he's collected five assists. He's up to 13 goals and 34 points in 52 outings this campaign.
FORWARD LINE STACKS
Oilers vs. Maple Leafs
Connor McDavid (C - $8,600), Zach Hyman (W - $7,200), Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (W - $6,000)
McDavid continues to be McDavid. He's provided four goals and 10 points across his past four appearances, which brings him up to 34 goals and 95 points in 56 outings. He's almost always worth taking, but his linemates are also worthy of selection. Hyman has been strong when healthy with 22 goals and 36 points in 37 outings, while Nugent-Hopkins is on a four-game scoring streak (one goal, three assists), giving him 13 goals and 44 points across 47 appearances this season.
Flyers vs. Capitals
Christian Dvorak (C - $5,500), Travis Konecny (W - $6,200), Nikita Grebenkin (W - $3,500)
If you're looking for an affordable alternative, the Flyers' top line is a strong candidate thanks to Konecny. The 28-year-old is among the hottest forwards in the league with eight goals and 13 points across his past eight appearances. The rest of the line isn't as appealing, but Dvorak's 12 goals and 34 points through 53 outings are acceptable at his price point, especially while he's getting plenty of ice time (he averaged 20:08 in January) and a sizable role with the man advantage (3:24 in January). Meanwhile, Grebenkin has provided a point in each of his last two games (one goal, one assist), which gives him some value at a rock-bottom salary.
DEFENSEMEN
Evan Bouchard, EDM vs. TOR ($7,500): Bouchard has been fantastic recently, supplying four goals and 12 points over his past five outings. He's up to 15 goals and 60 points, including 20 with the man advantage, in 56 appearances in 2025-26.
Victor Hedman, TBL vs. BUF ($5,200): Hedman is an interesting discount option at the moment. This will be just his second game back from an elbow injury, and he's missed 34 games this season. However, Hedman is just a year removed from a 66-point regular season, which marked the fifth time that he's surpassed the 60-point mark in his career. He's capable of providing superb value at this salary if he gets back up to speed quickly.
