Hirata scored a top-25 in the first start of his rookie season following posting four rounds in the 60s. The ball striking was strong ranking 13th in SG: Off-the-Tee, 15th in SG: Approach, second in driving accuracy and T2 in GIR's. He was only 52nd in SG: Putting and 70th in putts per GIR, however.
