Won't run 40 at NFL Combine
WRFree Agent
February 27, 2026
Lemon said Friday that he will not run the 40-yard dash at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine or participate in other testing drills, but that he will take part in the gauntlet and run routes, Dane Brugler of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Lemon will display some of his route-running talents and agility, but he won't take part in official testing metrics at the combine. It remains to be seen whether the reigning Biletnikoff Trophy winner will take part in such drills at USC's pro day at a later date. In any case, Lemon's decision not to take part in drills at the combine is unlikely to significantly impact his stock ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft, as the standout receiver remains frequently mocked as a top-15, if not a top-10 prospect for WR-needy teams.

Good fit with Rams?
WRFree Agent
February 21, 2026
As part of the beat reporter mock draft, Nate Adkins of The Athletic has the Rams selecting Lemon with the 13th pick of the 2026 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
The Rams need to address the cornerback position in the offseason, but Adkins has Lemon going to Los Angeles, where he would serve as the team's WR3 behind the lethal one-two punch of Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. In such a scenario, Adkins believes that Lemon would have a good chance at seeing the field a lot on offense, given his physicality and ability as a blocker that fits nicely into head coach Sean McVay's scheme. Lemon finished his three-year collegiate career strongly in 2025 with USC, as he logged 79 catches for 1,156 yards and 11 touchdowns across 12 games.
