2025 Fantasy Outlook
After a three-year stint as Minnesota's No. 3 WR, Osborn signed last offseason with the Patriots but played in just seven games before being waived. He landed in Washington, where his struggles to earn playing time continued, likely setting him up to battle for a back-end roster spot this summer. Osborn is a long shot to place any higher than fourth on the depth chart at his position even if things go well for him during training camp and the preseason. Read Past Outlooks
Joins Atlanta's practice squad
The Falcons signed Osborn to the practice squad Monday, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Osborn spent time with the Commanders during the offseason, but he wasn't able to earn a spot on the team's initial 53-man roster. Now, he'll provide Atlanta with emergency depth at wide receiver while star wideout Drake London (knee) works his way back from a PCL sprain.

Osborn signed a free agent deal with the Patriots. It may not be difficult for the receiver to secure a significant role as an outside receiver. Osborn was a full-time player for the Vikings last year. Even though Jordan Addision was a more talented receiver, Osborn was often on the field more than Addison because of his exceptional blocking skills. Although Osborn had a pair of games with at least 95 yards, he often produced in the 30-40 yard range. It’s possible that Osborn is asked to be more of a receiver in New England. However, New England added Ja’Lynn Polk and Javon Baker in this year’s draft. Along with Kendrick Bourne making his way back from a knee injury, Osborn may see little time on the field if he’s the No. 4 receiver.

Visits with Eagles
Osborn worked out for Philadelphia on Monday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
ANALYSIS
The Eagles worked out a number of veterans Monday including Osborn, who spent the first four seasons of his career with the Vikings before playing eight regular-season games between the Patriots and Commanders in 2024. The wideout also has experience as a return man, which could be the role Philly is considering him for after Will Shipley suffered a rib injury in the team's season opener Thursday.
