2025 Fantasy Outlook
Elliott has never been an elite kicker for either real life or fantasy, but he always manages to keep the job in Philadelphia, where he's now entering Year 10 after two straight years with a field-goal percentage below 80. Part of that is a lack of short-range volume, which relates to Philadelphia's fourth-down aggressiveness and Tush Push success. Granted, Elliott also has a subpar track record on long-distance attempts, going 31-of-52 from 50-plus yards (59.6 percent) across his career. The only positive for fantasy has been consistent PAT volume, but even that started to dry up last year as the Eagles struggled on offense. Read Past Outlooks
Reworks deal with Philadelphia
Elliott agreed Thursday to rework his contract with the Eagles, accepting a $1 million pay cut while receiving $5 million guaranteed for 2026, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
ANALYSIS
The Eagles will save $243,000 in cap space with the maneuver, while the guaranteed money virtually assures that Elliott will remain the team's kicker in 2026 following a rough 2025 campaign. After converting 20 of 27 field-goal attempts for a career-worst 74.1 percent rate during the Eagles' 17 regular-season games, Elliott then had a costly missed extra point in Philadelphia's narrow loss to San Francisco in the wild-card round. The 31-year-old still remains under contract through 2028, but the Eagles would likely have more flexibility to move on from him next offseason if he's unable to bounce back in 2026.

Elliott has been the Eagles' kicker since 2017, with the past three seasons being his best in terms of FG percentage (including a career-high 93.8 in 2023). He's now up to 86.2 percent on FGAs and 95.8 percent on PATs for his career, and he's gone 15 of 17 from 50-plus yards the past three seasons. The Eagles rewarded Elliott this offseason by making him the second-highest-paid kicker in terms of average annual value, following a 2023 in which he tied for third among kickers in fantasy scoring. The 29-year-old is still attached to a strong roster, though coach Nick Sirianni's proclivity for going for it on fourth downs does turn some potential three-point attempts into one-pointers instead.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Week 5 absence expected
Elliott is expected to sit out Sunday's Week 5 clash against the Cardinals due to an ankle injury, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Elliott's injury occurred late in the third quarter of the Week 4 win over the Jaguars, when he was run into by cornerback Tyson Campbell on a field-goal attempt and drew a roughing the kicker penalty. Philadelphia is expected to roll with University of Texas product Cameron Dicker, who's currently on the practice squad, as the placekicker against Arizona.
