Declaring for draft

Price announced Wednesday that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at Notre Dame to enter the 2026 NFL Draft, Jordan Reid of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Price will move on to the professional ranks after four seasons at Notre Dame. Though he had the option of playing another year of college football after taking a redshirt in 2022, Price will bypass the opportunity to potentially replace the departing Jeremiyah Love as the Fighting Irish's lead back and will instead look to carve out a path in the NFL. Even while Love led the Notre Dame rushing attack over the past two seasons, Price shined in a complementary role, racking up 1,420 yards on 233 carries (6.1 average) while accounting for 20 total touchdowns in 28 games. He also made a splash on special teams, bringing back three of his 22 kickoff returns for scores.

Walker replacement in Brugler mock
RBFree Agent
March 7, 2026
In his latest mock draft, Dane Brugler of The Athletic has the Seahawks selecting Price in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 64th overall.
ANALYSIS
Super Bowl LX MVP Kenneth Walker could sign with another team in free agency, which would put the Seahawks in the market for a running back, given that Zach Charbonnet is recovering from a torn ACL that he suffered in late January. Price served as Notre Dame's RB2 behind Jeremiyah Love in each of the last two seasons, with the former turning 113 carries into 674 yards and 11 touchdowns and six catches into 87 yards and two scores across 12 games in 2025. Per Lance Zierlein of NFL.com, Price is a tempo-driven back that has the vision, awareness and top-speed ability that should translate well at the NFL level.
