Once the move is official, Hargrave should draw plenty of interest from teams looking to add a veteran defensive lineman in free agency.

The veteran defensive tackle did suffer a torn ligament in his thumb towards the end of the season, which may require surgery before he hits the field in 2024. Under contract through 2026, Hargrave will continue anchoring the interior of the 49ers defensive line for this upcoming season and beyond.
