With Drake London, Darnell Mooney and Ray-Ray McCloud returning, Washington will be competing for snaps with KhaDarel Hodge. After being limited primarily to special-teams work during his 2024 rookie campaign (47 special-teams snaps and nine on offense), Washington logged a career-high 180 offensive snaps in 2025. Across his first two NFL seasons, the Illinois product has caught seven of 16 targets for 108 yards while operating as a depth piece in the Falcons' wide receiver room. Washington remains under contract through the 2027 season and is expected to retain a similar role for Atlanta next year.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
A sixth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Washington joins Darnell Mooney and Ray-Ray McCloud as new additions to the Falcons' revamped passing attack, which will be led by QB Kirk Cousins, WR Drake London and former Rams passing game coordinator Zac Robinson. At 23 years old, Washington is an older prospect who finished with 49 receptions for 670 yards and four touchdowns during his final season at Illinois and ran a 4.46 40 at his pro day. Given the lack of elite traits and the talent ahead of him, Washington is trending toward a depth role during his rookie campaign.
