New England Patriots vs Seattle Seahawks Prop Plays

*Best lines at time of writing listed

Patriots QB Drake Maye - Under 30.5 Pass Attempts (-110 Hard Rock)

Maye's shoulder is apparently no longer an issue after a week of full practices, but that improvement doesn't necessarily equate to elevated probability of a high-volume day for the second-year signal-caller. The Patriots managed Maye's drop-backs relatively carefully in his first season under head coach Mike Vrabel, and given the quality of New England's ground attack and defense, it should continue to deploy the same approach Sunday.

Maye put up 28.9 pass attempts per game during the regular season, and two of the seven occasions in which he exceeded 30 pass attempts came within the first three games of the season. The Patriots went on to develop their offensive identity as the season went on, and given the adrenaline rush the opening quarter of Sunday's game should offer – not to mention the aggressive nature of the Seahawks' defense – we're likely to see a ground-centric attack early as coordinator Josh McDaniels looks to get his young QB settled in.

Additionally, there's the matter of opportunity – Seattle has allowed the eighth-lowest time of possession (28:43) on the road since the start of the regular season, along with the seventh-fewest opponent plays per road game (58.6). If New England approximates its 51.6% rushing play rate thus far this postseason, we're likely looking at a 26-to-28 pass-attempt day for Maye.

Patriots TE Hunter Henry - 5+ 1st Quarter Receiving Yards (+118 FanDuel)

Henry has averaged 3.8 receptions and 43.7 receiving yards per game over the last two regular seasons, and in the just-completed 2025 campaign, he recorded a career-high 768 receiving yards. Henry also started the postseason out with a bang in the form of a 3-64-1 line in the wild-card win over the Chargers, and although he went on to post just a 3-17-0 tally on five targets in the subsequent pair of postseason contests, a resurgence could certainly be on the menu Sunday.

The Seahawks were particularly stingy against wide receivers this season while allowing just a 56.9% catch rate to the position, but tight ends converted their targets into receptions at a  72.9% clip vs. Seattle. The Seahawks also yielded the fifth-most receptions (105) and sixth-most receiving yards (1,080) to the position during the course of the regular season, an average of 10.3 yards per catch.

The Seahawks also recorded a robust 47 sacks and 18 interceptions in the 2025 campaign, while Maye took 47 sacks in his own right. Given he should have his fair share of early-game jitters and Seattle will undoubtedly try to capitalize with an aggressive approach, some safe, ball-out-quick plays to as reliable a target as Henry early on appears to be a very viable way to settle Maye and his nerves into the flow of the game.

Seahawks QB Sam Darnold - Under 239.5 Passing Yards (-141 BetRivers)

The Seahawks' air attack was somewhat similar to that of the Patriots in that Sam Darnold's pass attempts were kept to a modest amount whenever possible. That strategy naturally worked well overall for the NFC representatives, and given the way the matchup lines up Sunday, it wouldn't be surprising to see the same approach applied.

Darnold averaged just 19 completions and 238.1 passing yards per game during the regular season, often relying on big splash plays through the air to Jaxon Smith-Njigba that could well be at a premium Sunday. The Patriots have surrendered the third-lowest yards per completion (9.4) on the road since the start of ther regular season, and they've yielded an even stingier 7.4 over New England's first three postseason games.

The Patriots' standout cornerback duo of Christian Gonzalez and Carlton Davis has presented quite the challenge to quarterbacks and their pass-catching weapons all season, with New England giving up 185.3 passing yards per game since the start of the regular season, including a microscopic 138.3 per playoff contest. With Gonzalez likely to spend plenty of time on Smith-Njigba and the likes of Cooper Kupp and Rashid Shaheed certainly talented but far from consistent, Darnold falling under 239 yards is certainly conceivable.

Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III - Over 20.5 Receiving Yards (-110 BetMGM)

Having just laid out a case for Darnold's top passing game weapons potentially struggling against New England's talented secondary, we'll tout this prop for Walker in his complementary role as a receiver. The versatile back is naturally due for a hefty workload Sunday given Zach Charbonnet's season-ending knee injury back in the divisional round, and he could pull his fair share of duty as an outlet option for Darnold.

Walker is already trending up as a pass catcher over the last few weeks, having generated a 11-114-0 receiving line on 11 targets since Week 18. Walker has exceeded 20 receiving yards on seven occasions since the start of the regular season, and all but one of those instances has come since Week 11. The Patriots also tied for the fourth-most receptions surrendered to running backs during the regular season (84) and an average of 30.8 receiving yards to the position as well.

One of the ways that Seattle can help Darnold – who committed 20 turnovers in 17 regular-season games – with ball security against a talented Pats defense is to give him some opportunities for safe throws close to the line of scrimmage, and Walker has the ability to turn some of those high-percentage plays into meaningful yards after the catch.
