Eagles at Bills Betting Odds, Picks and Predictions for Week 17
The Eagles took advantage of two favorable matchups to win the NFC East with a 10-5 mark. The Philadelphia offense appears to be back on track, but due to their inconsistent season, they are averaging just 23.2 points per game. However, the defense has been the team's better unit, and they allow an average of 19.3 points per contest.
They'll be up against the Bills, owners of an 11-4 record. They are trying to catch the New England Patriots to win the AFC East, so they don't have to spend the entire playoff slate on the road. Buffalo scores 28.9 points per game (PPG), while allowing 22.9 per contest. The Bills won their last four games, and come into this one on a roll.

Eagles at Bills Betting Picks
Although the Eagles have not had consistency on offense this year, they have looked much better recently against the terrible defenses of the Raiders and Commanders. Although that's not very impressive, the newfound balance between the run and the pass translates well against a Bills defense that has great name value, but is not a great defense.
Saquon Barkley should have another strong performance on the ground. In addition, the Bills' secondary will have matchup problems with A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and Dallas Goedert. The Eagles are in great shape to have another strong offensive performance.
Defensively, the Eagles defense is often willing to concede the run, so an explosive passing attack does not overwhelm them. That philosophy may not be optimal in this game. Buffalo lacks quality outside wide receivers, but running back James Cook has been amazing running the football all season. If the Eagles don't put extra attention on Cook, don't be surprised if Buffalo has a big day on the ground. Still, it's also possible that the Eagles make an adjustment if Cook is running wild.
Eventually, offensive success will rest on the arms and legs of Josh Allen. Playing at home in a game they need to win, Allen will find a way for the offense to keep up with the Eagles on the scoreboard.
Eagles at Bills Prediction
Ultimately, the Eagles locked up the NFC East, and they may not have the same level of motivation the Bills have. Also, with the game being played in Buffalo, the home field does give the Bills an added edge. Look for Buffalo to win a tight game, but the best bet is the over.
I predict the Bills win 31-27.
