Chicago Bears vs Cleveland Browns
Betting Odds, Picks, and Predictions for Week 15
So close. Last week, OUR Chicago Bears were so close to not only covering in Green Bay, but climbing the mountain and beating the Packers outright. Now, we don't know for sure if the Bears would have scored if they converted that fourth down, and if so, if they would have gone for two and the win. Regardless, Chicago showed they belonged and are in it for the long haul. This week, they shift their focus to a team that is completely random from week to week, the Cleveland Browns. Let's jump into this week's tilt between two of the originals.

Bears vs Browns Odds
- Spread: Bears -7.5 (-110 Universal), Browns +7.5 (Universal)
- Moneyline: Bears -375 (Fanatics), Browns +320 (FanDuel)
- Total: Over 38.5 (-108 Ceasars), Under 39 (-110 Bet365, BetMGM)
The line hasn't moved much from its opening at 7, and the very shallow splits (53 percent of bets, and 54 percent of money on Cleveland) support the lack of movement. The total has had significant movement from the open at 40.5, and now down to 38.5 in many places. That move is counter to the 70 percent of bets, and 76 percent of the money, on the Over. With those splits, as well as the relatively mild weather forecast, I can see this settling in the 39 range, so if you like the over, now would be the time to buy.

Bears vs Browns Betting Picks This Week
After last week's very odd loss, where the once fearsome Cleveland defense gave up 31 points to the horrendous Titans, there are reports the Browns might be tanking. With nothing to play for, and the need for offensive playmakers, there is some sense to that thinking.
However, you can't handicap on rumor and speculation. What you can handicap on is hard facts and stats and here are a few: Cleveland's lone road victory this season came at lowly Las Vegas. In fact, that's its only road cover this year, continuing a troubling trend from last year. The Browns were 2-5 ATS as road 'dogs last year, and they're 1-5 ATS in that situation this year.
Conversely, OUR Chicago Bears have thrived at home, with their only loss coming in Week 1. There is a 0.0 percent chance of me advising any plays on the Browns, but 7.5 is not a favorable number for a favorite. If you are a teaser player, I would strongly advise using the Bears as a teaser leg, but that isn't my official play here. For the play, we have to look at the total, and this is where I'm going to take advantage of a little buy-back on the Over. Every Chicago home game has gone Over this total, and the Cleveland offense showed some spark last week. At 38.5, I'm following the situation and value on the Over.
