Ahhh, it feels good to be back covering the team I know and "love" the most: OUR FIRST-PLACE Chicago Bears! That's right, first place!
Now, let's be real for a little bit.....last week's win was something of a minor miracle, largely manifested by New York's Jaxson Dart being concussed and removed from the game. Up to that point, the performance and effort was lackluster. However, as has become somewhat of a calling card, OUR Bears managed to pull a 24-20 win out of a precarious situation thanks to QB Caleb Williams scoring a 17-yard rushing touchdown with 1:47 left in regulation. It was a far cry from the teams of the past few years that found creative ways to lose games.
This week, the boys head north to Minneapolis to take on the Vikings in a battle of NFC North rivals.

Bears at Vikings Betting Odds
- Spread: Bears +3 (-115 Fanatics), Vikings -2.5 (-115 BetRivers, Caesars, FanDuel)
- Moneyline: Bears (+130 DraftKings), Vikings (-146 FanDuel)
- Total: Over 47.5 (-120 FanDuel), Under 48.5 (-110 Bet365, Bet365, DraftKings, Fanatics)
The line opened at 3, and occasionally dipped to 2.5 throughout the week, but no major movement. The slight movement follows the 60 percent bets and 73 percent money that are on the Bears, so we aren't getting much information out of that side. The total opened at 46.5, and has steadily risen to the 48.5 range. And, once again, that follows the 60 percent bets and 74 percent money that's on the Over. If it gets to 49.5, and I don't think it will, I would expect some buyback on the Under. For now, everything is pretty steady (boring), and with these relatively stagnant numbers, it comes down to true analysis.

Bears at Vikings Betting Picks
Does anyone have any idea how good the Vikings are? QB J.J. McCarthy is going through predicable growing pains, but the biggest surprise for Minnesota has been the defense. The Vikes have given up less than 24 points only three times this year, all of which were against offensively questionable teams.
Minnesota has also been surprisingly bad at home, with their only victory coming during Cincy's Jake Browning Experience. These are troubling trends and the schedule does not let up the rest of the way. The Bears are 3-2 on the road, both straight and against the spread, which solidifies my pick for this game: the Bears on the moneyline. When they win, they cover, and with the lines so stagnant, I'm comfortable jumping on some plus-money in a game Chicago can easily win. OUR Bears stay hot and win this one outright!
