Yet, in a result that harkens to season's past, the Bears laid an egg against the undermanned Ravens. This week, Chicago heads to Cincy to meet yet another undermanned team from the AFC North. Can we trust our old friends? Or, are the Bears like a toxic ex-lover, teasing us with "change" only to show their true colors when adversity hits?

Bears at Bengals Betting Odds
- Spread: Bears -2.5 (-115 BetMGM), Bengals +3 (-112 BetRivers)
- Moneyline: Bears -142 (DraftKings), Bengals +140 (ESPNBet)
- Total: Over 50.5 (-110 BetRivers), Under 51.5 (-110 DraftKings)
The Bears opened at -1.5, and it got as high as 3 on Wednesday, before settling in the 2.5 range. That was likely due to the mid-week concern about the shoulder of Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Flacco, which have since been dispelled.
This week, 60 percent of the bets, and 63 percent of the money, are on Cincy, yet the movement has been towards the Bears. That tells me the sharps are on Chicago. The Over has been pounded since the total opened at 48.5. It jumped two points almost immediately, before settling around 51 mark. This, despite 77 percent of the bets, and 68 percent of the money, are on the Under.

Bears at Bengals Betting Picks
Ugh. This game is gross, and these teams are gross. These are teams with awful defenses and inconsistent offenses that can put up 40, or 20, at the flip of a coin. The situation has to favor Chicago here after its dismal effort last week, combined with Cincy's utter and total collapse to the Jets. THE JETS.
In a very recent development, it was just announced Bears RB D'Andre Swift will miss Sunday's game. Swift is a very important piece of the Bears offense, but I'm not sure it matters against this atrocious Bengals D. The Bears will, therefore, lean on rookie RB Kyle Monangai.
It is looking like ideal weather conditions in Cincy on Sunday, and with Flacco cleared, I'm going to go with the Over here. The only two teams the Bengals have kept below 27 points are the New Orleans Saints and Cleveland Browns, and since Flacco took over, Cincy has scored 33 and 38, or an average of 35.5 points per game. Similarly, the Bears have held only two opponents to under 24 points, and they let Ravens QB Tyler Huntley lay 30 on them last week.
