Monday Night Football Player Props: Lions vs. Ravens

Week 3 wraps up in Baltimore with an epic game on the card between the Ravens and Lions. Both teams put up POINTS in Week 2 victories, but this has the makings of another Ravens-Bills type of fireworks show.

Let's see how the props line up for this one.

NFL Props Tonight

Jahmyr Gibbs Anytime TD -130 (FanDuel)

Yes, tuddy props are generally hard to square up due to high variance. However, we're getting one of the premier players in the league who's capable of scoring in multiple ways in what should be a shootout.

Gibbs found paydirt in Week 2 against Chicago where the Lions got him involved early and often. For Detroit to have a shot at pulling off the upset, their star RB needs to have a big game. Of course, Gibbs can do damage on the ground, but I think in this one he's a sneaky play in the receiving game against a Baltimore D that has allowed the sixth-most yards to backs in the pass game through two weeks. The 23.5-yard prop looks like a solid over for Jahmyr because I think the Lions will look to get the ball in his hands a ton.

Last year, the Ravens defense was near the top of the league in keeping RBs out of the end zone, but there are some players you go against the grain with because of their X-factor capability. That's Gibbs. He can't be game-scripted out of the Lions' offensive plan. And once he gets rolling, he's like an avalanche, similar to how Steph Curry gets in a groove when every three-ball he takes hits the bottom of the net.

There are several props I like in this contest, but getting Gibbs at -130 when his numbers often push -200 seems like a good value. Gibbs has taken over the backfield as the guy after his epic run last season. Though David Montgomery is certainly capable of handling business, this offense is a "Sonic" first unit. I think he's getting 20 touches in this one, so I'd be surprised if one of those doesn't find the end zone.

Pick: Jahmyr Gibbs TD -130 FD
