EuroLeague Basketball Picks: Best Bets for Round 27 - Friday

This article is part of our EuroLeague Basketball Picks series.

Best EuroLeague Bets for Friday, Feb. 6

When making my EuroLeague picks for Friday I did not find a whole lot to like, so I'm capping the double-game week with five half-unit plays.

All odds for EuroLeague player props current as of 8:35 AM ET Friday.

PICKS TO CLICK

Jordan Nwora 18+ Points (+110 DraftKings)

Whenever Maccabi is involved I want to find an angle, and it's tough to find a better one than a player who gets up some of the most shots in the EuroLeague. Nwora did not take the court last time these teams met, and if this game is even remotely competitive, his ceiling is very real.

Tornike Shengelia 15+ Points (+154 DraftKings)

I love going with active, stretch frontcourt players against Baskonia. Shengelia logged just 19 minutes in the first leg of the double-game week, which makes me think he gets 25 or more Friday. This is a matchup in which he should be able to consistently pressure the rim, draw fouls and live at the free throw line.

Marcio Santos 7+ Points (-103 DraftKings)

Maccabi's frontcourt has been frustrating all season, with players taking turns depending on who's feeling it on a give night. T.J. Leaf had been heating up, but -- per RotoWire's EuroLeague Injury Report -- he will be unavailable Friday, and although Zach Hankins will be back he will likely be eased in, so there's a path to solid minutes for Santos. He started the last matchup with Red Star, which adds to the optimism. Plus, only two teams allowed opposing centers to rack up more points over the last five Rounds.

Devin Booker Over 16.5 Points+Rebounds (-115 bet365)

If Milan were playing anyone else, I'd probably write off Booker big night against Baskonia as a one-off against a team that struggles with stretch bigs. Instead, he gets another elite matchup against ASVEL, who are also getting crushed by centers. With Josh Nebo still sidelined, the door is wide open for another big one from Booker.

Alen Smailagic Over 5.5 Points (-115 FanDuel)

Smailagic is of my favorite unsung players in the league. He rarely sees heavy minutes, but he's efficient with the opportunities he gets. I love him as a stylistic fit against the drop coverage Olympiacos uses. He probably won't start against Nikola Milutinov, but whenever he shares the floor, he should get clean perimeter looks. I'm banking on him knocking those down, and he did last time around, scoring nine points over 13 minutes in their last matchup.
