PICKS TO CLICK

Derrick Alston Jr 15+ Points (+200 DraftKings)

Derrick Alston Jr Over 14.5 Points+Rebounds (-120 bet365)

This line is more juiced than it was last time Carsen Edwards sat out, but I'm still taking it. Alston has been playing excellent basketball and now gets another crack at filling the alpha role. The matchup with Monaco isn't quite as favorable as it was in Round 19 against Milan, so for the points-only option I would stick to a half unit.

Still, the volume alone could get us there, which is why I'm comfortable taking some risk. I slightly prefer the points+rebounds angle for added cushion.

Cedi Osman 15+ Points (+115 bet365)

There are a few things to monitor in this game, but there are multiple spots to target when it comes to ASVEL, and I'm going with Osman however the dominoes fall.

Osman missed Round 24, but he has had time to rest and recover and trained with his teammates all week. With Kendrick Nunn still sidelined -- per RotoWire's EuroLeague Injury Report -- a sizeable scoring role is available, and Osman fits it perfectly. If he starts, I think a mini-ladder comes into play, but I still like this number even if he works as a reserve.

There are two things I'm watching closely, and the first one is who starts in Nunn's place. During the just-completed double-game week, neither started the first end and Shorts started the second. If either gets the nod Friday I like his combination props on bet365. The second one involves the center spot, as ASVEL has been particularly friendly to opposing big men. Richaun Holmes is uncertain, so it's unclear who will start at center, but I think it's worth making plays on whichever player that becomes.

Edwin Jackson Over 0.5 Threes (-110 FanDuel)

Edwin Jackson 7+ Points (+170 DraftKings)

This one sits third in my confidence rankings for a reason. ASVEL's rotations are all over the place, and with Braian Angola added to the mix the minutes are muddied even further.

That said, FanDuel occasionally hangs tempting numbers on bench players, and Jackson caught my eye. He is versatile enough to steal minutes at the small forward spot, which helps his floor. Since returning from an extended absence Jackson has put up seven points or more four times in seven EuroLeague appearances.

He's not a volume shooter from the three-point line, but he is hitting 44.8 percent of his triples in EuroLeague play, and Panathinaikos allowed opponents to hit threes at the third highest rate in the league over the last five games. At a low entry price I'm willing to bite.
