EuroLeague Basketball Picks: Best Bets for Round 18 - Friday

This article is part of our EuroLeague Basketball Picks series.

Best EuroLeague Bets for Friday, Dec. 26

What a day we had Tuesday to kick off the holiday season. It was a full sweep, highlighted by Dwayne Bacon cashing his entire points ladder -- and doing so in the first half.

Days like that have been a bit rare lately with how tight the lines have been and the lack of notable absences, but let's see if we can build on Tuesday's results and roll into the weekend on a high note.

All odds for EuroLeague player props current as of 8:00 AM ET Friday.

PICKS TO CLICK

Sterling Brown Under 12.5 Points (-122 FanDuel)

It feels like a "too many cooks in the kitchen" situation for Partizan, and Brown seems like the prime candidate to go low based purely on how inflated this number feels.

Partizan is expected to introduce Cameron Payne into the rotation in Round 18, which makes an already-crowded backcourt even messier. With Brown, Payne, Duane Washington, Nick Calathes, Vanja Marinkovic available and perhaps Shake Milton as well, the usage should be spread pretty thin.

Alec Peters 10+ Points (+150 bet365)

Sasha Vezenkov -- listed on RotoWire's EuroLeague Injury Report -- traveled with the team and could/should suit up Friday, which makes this a bit scary. However, Vezenkov isn't listed among the player props, which signals that the sportsbook may know something we don't.

Peters backs up Vezenkov and fills that role well. When Vezenkov spent the 2023-24 campaign in the NBA, Peters had a career year.

I'm betting this early in hopes Vezenkov sits, and if we get official confirmation that Vezenkov is out, I will look to ladder the points for Peters and perhaps even add combo plays if they're available. If Vezenkov suits up, well, we will just have to hope he's limited. Be responsible with this one.

Bruno Fernando

This is a rare situation where I'm waiting for lineups before placing anything. Since it's the first game of the day, we can afford to focus closely on the news.

  • If Tyrique Jones suits up and starts, I'm taking Under 8.5 Points (-135 bet365).
  • If Jones is ruled out and Fernando starts, I'm not only taking Over 8.5 Points (+105 bet365), but also laddering his points to 12+.

It sounds aggressive, but based on how the news breaks, I genuinely think this could end up being one of the best bets of the day.
