Pushing for playing time
Clement was praised by offensive coordinator Barry Lunney Jr. due to his recent performances in camp ahead of the season opener against Western Illinois on Friday, according to Doug Bucshon of On3.com. "I think (Hudson) Clement is really playing his best ball," Lunney said. "Not to take away from some other guys who are as well, but he's one in particular who has really jumped the last few weeks and really started to level off and get comfortable in the offense. So he's playing at a really high level."
