Johnson's role also expanded down the stretch, averaging 20.6 touches per game over the last four contests. With the other two running backs out of the picture, Johnson appears set to command the lion's share of opportunities in the backfield in what many are predicting could be a breakthrough season for Nebraska. With fresh faces such as receivers Dane Key and Nyziah Hunter out wide, along with another year of experience for quarterback Dylan Raiola, Johnson could be a beneficiary of an offense expected to take a step forward in 2025.
