Giddens announced Saturday via his personal Instagram account that he will forgo a fifth season of eligibility at Kansas State to enter the 2025 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
Though he didn't indicate whether he plans on suiting up for the Wildcats one final time in their Dec. 26 Rate Bowl matchup with Rutgers, Giddens will presumably sit out the game in order to avoid a potential injury that might derail his draft stock. After taking a redshirt during his first season at Manhattan in 2021, Giddens had appeared in 39 games (25 starts) over his final three years with Kansas State. Over 12 outings in 2024, Giddens carried 205 times for 1,343 yards and seven touchdowns to go with a 21-258-1 receiving line on 36 targets.
