2025 Receiving Projections
2024 Fantasy Outlook
In four seasons at NC State, Smith barely saw the field. He had to leave the ACC, but not the state, to finally get a real role in an offense. The transfer (including a drop to an easier league, to be fair) paid off. Smith responded with 41 catches for 799 yards and six touchdowns. That's some real bang-for-your-buck on a per-catch basis. He had three games with over 100 yards and a score, notable given that he had 243 receiving yards in four seasons with the Wolfpack. With Chase Sowell and Winston Wright, two of the team's top three receivers a season ago alongside Smith, out of the picture, it's Smith and Yannick Smith expected to claim the majority of the targets at wide receiver in 2025. Anthony Smith could see a slight improvement on his numbers if that increased target share comes to fruition, and the return of quarterback Katin Houser under center means that connection should remain stable as well. Only nine yards in season finale
Smith reeled in one of four targets for nine yards during Saturday's 42-3 victory versus Florida Atlantic.
ANALYSIS
In what was a career year, Smith had his worst performance of the season this week, tallying season lows in yards and receptions. The senior still put together a great year, though, leading the Pirates with 897 receiving yards to go along with five touchdowns.
