Morris has committed to play for Texas for the 2026 season, per Chris Hummer of 247Sports.com.

Morris will join the Longhorns following a single season with Coastal Carolina. The 6-foot-1 quarterback appeared in three games for the Chanticleers in 2025, throwing for 304 yards and one touchdown to four interceptions. The former North Carolina State and Maryland transfer will retain a single year of eligibility with Texas.
