College Football DFS: Friday Week 14 Picks and Strategy for DraftKings and FanDuel

This article is part of our College Football DFS: Friday Slate series.

College Football DFS: Friday Picks

Black Friday gives us one of the best days in the entire college football calendar. There are games all day long, and with three ranked matchups and no shortage of bitter rivalries, it's hard to ask for a better slate of college football.

DraftKings and FanDuel are both up and running Friday night, and below we break down some of the best plays on each slate.

Friday College Football DFS Slate Overview

With the largest Friday slate of the year, you have no shortage of options on both DraftKings and FanDuel. The FanDuel slate is a little bigger, featuring all 13 games, while DraftKings features a more succinct 10 matchups.

We're always looking for high point totals, and the North Texas/Temple matchup has the highest total on the slate at 65.5. However, with the Mean Green as heavy 19.5-point favorites, this is a game to get in on North Texas players and potentially avoid the Owls. Ole Miss at Mississippi State, meanwhile, is also expected to surpass 60 points, and that game has a much narrower spread with the Rebels favored by 7.5. The top players in this game are pricey, but this could be a very fruitful matchup fantasy-wise.

Again, with such a large slate, there's a litany of matchups to dive into, and no shortage of potential weaknesses to exploit for fantasy purposes. Kansas' abhorrent run defense? Yes please. Georgia Tech's soft secondary? Sign me up. A slate like this allows you to

DFS Plays on DraftKings and FanDuel for Friday, November 28

QB Gunner Stockton, Georgia vs. Georgia Tech ($8,600 on DraftKings, $10,700 on FanDuel)

Stockton wasn't asked to do all that much in Georgia's annual Week 13 cupcake game, when the Bulldogs blew out Charlotte. However, in the previous four games, Stockton had really started to catch fire. In that stretch, he threw for 1,005 yards on 75 percent completion with 15 total touchdowns and two interceptions. Now, he gets to face a porous Georgia Tech secondary that allows 241.6 passing yards per game as well as 25.5 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. And considering he's just the seventh-most expensive gunslinger on FanDuel and the fourth-priciest on DraftKings, he won't break the bank either, sweetening the deal.

RB Dylan Riley, Boise State vs. Utah State ($7,300 on DraftKings, $9,200 on FanDuel)

There are plenty of reasons to like Riley here. For starters, he's affordable, as the sixth-most expensive ball-carrier on FanDuel and the fifth-priciest on DraftKings. He's also the Broncos' most productive halfback this season with 896 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 6.4 yards per carry, with 12 catches for 130 yards and a score through the air to boot. Boise State utilizes other backs, including Sire Gaines, but Riley is the most consistently involved with 12.6 carries per game. Now, he gets to face a Utah State defense that allows 175.5 rushing yards per game, as well as 20.8 fantasy points per game to halfbacks. The touches will be there for Riley, and it's a great matchup — what's not to like?

WR Nik McMillan, Buffalo vs. Ohio ($6,700 on DraftKings, $7,900 on FanDuel)

McMillan is an especially enticing play on FanDuel, where he's just the 13th-priciest wideout available. Still, he should be on your radar for both slates, as he's been one of the hottest receivers in the nation towards the latter half of the season. He's surpassed 100 yards in each of his last five games, racking up 670 total yards on 41 catches, averaging 12.6 targets per game in that span. Ohio's pass defense isn't necessarily a huge weakness, allowing 204.6 passing yards per game, but the Bobcats do allow 23.5 fantasy points per game to wideouts. Take the red-hot receiver at a big discount.

Also Consider: RB Kewan Lacy, Ole Miss vs. Mississippi State ($8,000 on DraftKings, $11,200 on FanDuel)

DraftKings College Football DFS Picks for Friday, November 28

QB Drew Mestemaker, North Texas ($8,300 on DraftKings) vs. Temple ($12,800 on FanDuel)

Are you telling me you can scoop up the leading passer in the FBS as just the fifth-most expensive quarterback on DraftKings? Indeed, Mestemaker has been unbelievable this year, and his 3,459 passing yards are the most in the nation. He's also coming off a scintillating performance against Rice in which he tossed for 469 yards and three touchdowns. Temple's pass defense has been solid, allowing 184.4 passing yards per game, but that shouldn't scare you away. The Owls still surrender 23.3 fantasy points per game to opposing gunslingers, and again, Mestemaker has been tremendous. His floor appears extremely high — even when he threw for his lowest yardage output this season, 211 against Washington State, he still collected four touchdowns. What's more, considering he's the priciest gunslinger on FanDuel, this is a steal on DraftKings.

RB Wayshawn Parker, Utah ($6,700 on DraftKings) vs. Kansas ($9,000 on FanDuel)

Parker has been on a tear as of late. He's eclipsed 100 yards in each of his last four games, averaging 7.8 yards per carry in that span. He also averaged 15.3 carries in those games; it's clear the Utes are making a concerted effort to get him the ball. His Week 14 opponent, Kansas, doesn't look at all equipped to slow him down, as the Jayhawks allow 174.3 rushing yards per game and 23.9 fantasy points per game to halfbacks, one of the worst marks in the Big 12. As the cherry on top, he's an excellent deal on DraftKings as the ninth-priciest tailback available.

WR Wyatt Young, North Texas ($6,800 on DraftKings) vs. Temple ($9,900 on FanDuel)

Young is pricey on both slates, but the sophomore wideout, enjoying a massive breakout season, is well worth the top dollar. He's racked up 1,076 yards and 11 total touchdowns this fall on 56 catches, and he's been scorching hot these last two games as well, with 16 grabs for 438 yards and three scores against UAB and Rice combined. Those are video game numbers, and he has a great chance to stay hot even against a Temple defense that's a little more stout than what the Mean Green have seen in recent weeks.

Also Consider: WR Zachariah Branch, Georgia ($5,600 on DraftKings) vs. Georgia Tech ($7,400 on FanDuel)

FanDuel College Football DFS Picks for Friday, November 28

QB Fernando Mendoza, Indiana ($11,500 on FanDuel) vs. Purdue (N/A on DraftKings)

Mendoza isn't available on DraftKings, but on the FanDuel side of things, he's staring you right in he face as just the fourth-most expensive quarterback. There's some talented gunslingers ahead of him, but considering the kind of season Mendoza is having — and the team he gets to face on Friday — he looks like a no-brainer here. First of all, Mendoza has been lights out in 2025. He's amassed 2,857 total yards and 35 total touchdowns while completing an extremely efficient 73 percent of his passes. Now, he gets to line up against a Boilermakers' defense that allows 246.1 passing yards per game and 9.2 yards per attempt. Take the likely Heisman finalist at a surprising bargain here and don't look back.

RB Nate Frazier, Georgia ($7,800 on FanDuel) vs. Georgia Tech ($7,000 on DraftKings)

Frazier is an absolute steal on FanDuel, where he's just the 15th-most expensive halfback available. Again, there's no shortage of talented halfbacks on this slate, but that feels impossibly low, especially considering he's the 6th-priciest on DraftKings. Frazier has been the focal point of this Bulldogs ground game, especially as of late: he has double-digit touches in six straight games, and leads Georgia's backfield with 701 rushing yards and five scores. He'll get his carries against the Yellow Jackets, who don't look particularly intimidating from a run defense standpoint — Georgia Tech surrenders 167.8 rushing yards per game. Frazier looks destined to outperform his price point here.

WR KC Concepcion, Texas A&M ($9,500 on FanDuel) vs. Texas (N/A on DraftKings)

Only FanDuel offers the Lone Star Showdown as part of its Friday slate, and Concepcion is a great option here. The star wideout is enjoying a phenomenal season in College Station as the Aggies' leading receiver with 52 grabs for 829 yards and nine touchdowns. He's consistently a factor in this passing attack, averaging 8.2 targets per game. What's more, Texas is a rather favorable matchup for Texas A&M's passing attack, as the Longhorns allow 243.2 passing yards per game as well as 20.2 fantasy points per game to wideouts. Texas' secondary looks permeable, and Concepcion appears set up for success on Friday night.

WR Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State ($9,200 on FanDuel) vs. Arizona (N/A on DraftKings)

Tyson is another FanDuel exclusive on Friday, and he's well worth a look. The receiver returned from a three-game absence last week against Colorado and was limited to two grabs for 61 yards. He's considered probable for this week, but is also widely expected to suit up in the battle for the Territorial Cup. In the seven games before he got injured, Tyson had at least one touchdown catch in all but one of those outings. He racked up 57 grabs for 628 yards and eight scores in that span as one of the best pass-catchers in the nation. Arizona boasts a strong secondary, but it's unwise to bet against a receiver as talented as Tyson.
