Banks has been hot and cold for the Hawkeyes, scoring as many as 17 points and as few as two through Iowa's first month of the season. However, he was completely bottled up against Michigan State to the tune of just two shots attempted. The Spartans had no issue containing Iowa's offense, and Banks was no exception. The Hawkeyes won't play a defense that tenacious every night, but Iowa needs Banks and other players not named Bennett Stirtz to step up against quality competition.
