Lipsey failed to reach double figures in scoring for the first time in seven games but it was the last of his eight boards off of an Iowa State missed free-throw with less than five seconds remaining that helped seal the signature win for the Cyclones. The rebounding total was one off a season high for the senior playmaker, who also added at least four assists for the 21st time in 23 games played this season. Lipsey continues to struggle from the line and from long range, now shooting just 64.0-percent from the stripe and 26.8-percent on his three-point attempts after going 3-for-6 and 0-for-3 respectively on Monday. Despite those struggles, Lipsey has excelled in all other facets this season and is averaging 12.2 points, 4.7 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 1.9 steals across 31.5 minutes through 13 conference games.
