Hopeful for return for ACC play
Trimble (wrist) has no definitive timeline for a return but is hopeful to come back before the start of ACC conference play, per Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

Trimble has missed each of the last six contests for UNC while dealing with a wrist injury and appears to be set to miss more time moving forward. The Tar Heels open up conference play against Florida State, giving the 6-foot-3 guard a hesitant return date of some time in mid-late December, though nothing is set in stone. Trimble, who averaged 14.5 points and five rebounds per game across the team's first two contests before going down, will be a welcome addition back to a North Carolina squad that has held itself afloat in the national rankings since his departure.
