Rataj posted season highs in both scoring and rebounding to collect his first double double as a member of the Bears. Rataj is contributing 6.0 boards, 3.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.8 blocks but has struggled to find his footing offensively at Baylor, averaging just 8.8 points on 38.5-percent shooting across 28.6 minutes for a team that that is averaging 86 points per contest. The senior has proven to be a capable offensive weapon in the past, averaging 16.9 points last season in what was a breakout campaign at Oregon State. Baylor is hoping that Tuesday's performance against St. John's could be a sign that Rataj is on the verge of breaking out of his early-season funk.
