Evans recorded 18 points (6-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals across 36 minutes during Saturday's 81-71 loss to Michigan.
ANALYSIS
With top producers Nate Bittle (foot) and Jackson Shelstad (hand) sidelined for the foreseeable future (and possibly the season), Evans will have to take on much of the scoring responsibility for an Oregon team off to a 1-6 start to Big Ten play. The junior forward has already shown tremendous improvement in his third year with the program, sporting career best averages of 13.3 ppg (on 51.2 percent shooting), 7.5 rpg and 2.3 apg.
