Historic season continues
Jefferson finished with 22 points (6-14 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 8-10 FT), five rebounds, five assists and five steals across 34 minutes during Saturday's 82-73 loss to Texas Tech.
ANALYSIS
Jefferson filled out the box score with 22 points, five boards, fives assists, the 16th time this season he's scored in double figures while adding at least five and five and the fourth time he's done so when scoring at least 20. The senior forward, who has reached double figures in scoring in every game this season, also added a season-high five steals to go along with the rest of his impressive stat line. For the season, Jefferson is currently averaging 16.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.6 steals. If he finishes the season with those numbers, he'll be the first Big 12 player and only the sixth Division 1 player over the past 51 years to match or surpass those figures.
