Shelstad, who sustained a right-hand injury in late December, is dealing with ligament and tendon damage that is expected to sideline him for the remainder of the 2025-26 season. Head coach Dana Altman said the injury may require surgery, and regardless of him putting it off, he is expected to sit out the remainder of the year.
