Durkin has been on an absolute tear from the three-point line, clearing three or more triples in nine consecutive games and hitting 51.4 percent from distance over that span. The Davidson transfer has came on late in the year, averaging 14.5 ppg over his last 10 games. He's also taking on a heavy minutes toll, playing 36.6 mpg since entering the starting lineup Dec. 3. Simply put, Durkin has been a major part of coach Niko Medved's seemingly instant turnaround of the Minnesota basketball program. He'll be a key piece if he sticks around for his senior year.
