Chaz Lanier News: Assigned to G League

Detroit assigned Lanier to the G League's Motor City Cruise on Tuesday.

Lanier was recalled to join the Pistons prior to Monday's game against the Celtics but did not take the court, and he will now rejoin the team's G League affiliate. In nine appearances with the Cruise, Lanier is averaging 19.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.2 blocks and 3.8 threes on an outstanding 41.5 percent clip across 34.7 minutes.
