NBA Pick'Em Today

Orlando Magic vs. Philadelphia 76ers: Wendell Carter over 11.5 points, Underdog, 4:30 PM CT

Carter has scored in double digits in all but five outings this season, and he's set to return from a one-game absence due to an ankle sprain that caused him to miss the loss against the Celtics on Sunday. The big man should return to his regular starting role, and considering the Magic are without Paolo Banchero (groin), and that Goga Bitadze (ankle) is questionable, Carter might be the lone source of steady frontcourt offense for Orlando. Given that the 76ers will be depleted in the frontcourt without Joel Embiid (knee) and Adem Bona (ankle), Carter's mobility and athleticism should play well against Andre Drummond, making him a solid bet to reach this 11.5-point mark.

Atlanta Hawks vs. Washington Wizards: Alex Sarr under 30.5 points + rebounds + assists, PrizePicks, 4:30 PM CT

Sarr returned from a two-game absence in Saturday's 121-120 loss to the Bulls, where he finished with 16 points, 11 rebounds and four assists. However, even though he cleared the 30.5 P+R+A line in that contest, he's failed to do so in three of his last six appearances. This matchup against the Hawks doesn't look like an encouraging one for Sarr, as he'll have to deal either with the length of Kristaps Porzingis, who can be a nightmarish matchup for the young center, or with the athleticism of Onyeka Okongwu. Since Sarr hasn't reached this mark in five of nine games in November and has barely made it in the few games where he's achieved it, we believe the strength of the opponent, as well as the Wizards' own struggles, will conspire against the second-year big man here.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Los Angeles Lakers: Kawhi Leonard over 27.5 points + rebounds + assists, Sleeper, 4:30 PM CT

Leonard has reached the 27.5 P+R+A mark in four of his seven appearances this season, although this is not enough of a solid stat to base the analysis on since Leonard has played just two games since the beginning of November. He returned from a 10-game absence Sunday and posted a solid 20-point, three-rebound, two-assist line while logging 26 minutes. Even if he has some kind of minutes restriction, Leonard should be in line to hover around those numbers once again since his athleticism could allow him to win duels against either LeBron James or Rui Hachimura, depending on who he gets matched up against. Leonard has the ability as a scorer to hover around the 20-point mark with ease, and his instincts should allow him to get decent contributions in assists and rebounds as long as he stays on the court enough. Perhaps an eventual minutes restriction might be the only thing that could prevent Leonard from reaching this proposed mark, but on paper, it looks within reach.
