NBA Pick'Em Today (Wednesday, Feb. 11)
Orlando Magic vs. Milwaukee Bucks: Paolo Banchero over 28.5 points + rebounds -- PrizePicks, 8 AM CT
Banchero has fallen short of reaching this proposed line of 28.5 points + rebounds in three of his previous four appearances, but he's constantly hovered around the 20 P+R mark. However, he also achieved this in six games in a row between Jan. 22 and Feb. 1, so he clearly has the ability to make an impact both as a scorer and rebounder. Banchero was limited to just 11 points and nine rebounds across 33 minutes in a win over Milwaukee on Monday despite logging 33 minutes, but he should be able to improve on that line after going just 3-for-10 from the floor. The Bucks have a frontcourt of Kyle Kuzma and Myles Turner -- neither player is known for being an elite defender or even an above-average rebounder. Look for Banchero to bounce back after a disappointing effort Monday against this same opponent.
Sacramento Kings vs. Utah Jazz: Jusuf Nurkic over 18.5 points + rebounds -- Sleeper, 8 AM CT
Nurkic has been one of the most reliable players in terms of putting up points and rebounds of late. The veteran big man is coming off a 10-point, 16-rebound double-double in the win over the Miami Heat on Monday, and he's recorded over 18.5 points + rebounds in nine of his 11 appearances since the beginning of January, a stretch in which he's averaging a robust 13.8 points and 12.7 rebounds per contest. The lone aspect that might limit Nurkic's chances of reaching this line lies in the development of the game -- he might sit the final stages of the game or might not play too much if the game ends up being a blowout. But if he plays around his regular minutes between 25 and 30, Nurkic should have a strong chance of hitting this line once again. The veteran has 13 double-doubles and three triple-doubles this season.
Portland Trail Blazers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves: Deni Avdija under 35.5 points + rebounds + assists -- Pick6, 8 AM
Avdija has been hovering around the 30 mark of points + rebounds + assists regularly in recent games. However, it wouldn't be shocking if he stays below the proposed threshold of 35.5 P+R+A in this game, as the defensive matchup against Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert isn't really favorable. Avdija is coming off an impressive performance against the 76ers on Monday, finishing with 26 points (8-16 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 8-10 FT), 10 rebounds, eight assists, one block and two steals in 27 minutes. Prior to this game, though, Avdija has missed nine games since the beginning of January, and the last time he surpassed this line was in a win over the Kings on Jan. 18. Avdija should be the leading scorer for the Trail Blazers once again, especially Shaedon Sharpe (calf) sidelined, but this line looks a bit high based on the matchup he'll have.
