Elite Players
Guards
Cade Cunningham, Pistons
($10,700) at Celtics
Cunningham is coming off a 15-point performance during Friday's blowout win over Atlanta, during which he logged only 22 minutes. However, he still finished with 35.3 DK points. The star guard continues to stuff the stat sheet and has averaged 26.5 points, 8.3 assists, 7.0 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.0 blocks across 34.6 minutes per tilt in his last 10 outings.
Tyler Herro, Heat
($7,400) vs. Raptors
Herro has yet to post less than 20 points through six regular-season appearances, during which he has averaged 23.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals 31.5 minutes per contest. The star guard has yet to record fewer than 29.0 DK points this season.
Forwards/Centers
Jaylen Brown, Celtics
($9,700) vs. Pistons
Brown has been on a heater of late, scoring at least 30 points in seven of his last eight appearances. The 29-year-old forward has tallied at least 37.3 DK points in 11 consecutive contests, during which he has averaged 31.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.5 steals in 35.7 minutes per game.
Anthony Davis, Mavericks
($9,500) at Jazz
Davis is questionable for Monday's contest due to a left calf contusion but went through shootaround in the morning, which bodes well for his chances of suiting up. The veteran big man has a favorable matchup against a lackluster Jazz defense and has mostly been productive of late, posting 48.0-plus DK points in four of his last five outings. During that span, he has averaged 20.8 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.4 steals in 29.4 minutes per game.
Scottie Barnes, Raptors
($9,000) at Heat
Barnes is coming off a forgettable performance in a loss to the Knicks on Tuesday but will look to bounce back after nearly a week off. The star forward has racked up 36.8 or more DK points in nine of his last 11 games, during which he has averaged 20.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks in 35.4 minutes per tilt.
Expected Chalk
Nikola Jokic, Nuggets
($12,700) vs. Rockets
Jokic continues to dominate and has yet to record fewer than 51.3 DK points through 24 regular-season appearances. The three-time MVP has racked up three double-doubles and a triple-double in his last five outings, during which he has averaged 31.4 points, 11.6 rebounds, 10.6 assists and 1.0 steals per game. During a Nov. 21 win over Houston, Jokic finished one assist shy of a triple-double and posted 69.5 DK points.
Mid-Range Money
Cooper Flagg, Mavericks
($7,200) at Jazz
Flagg has been productive recently, logging at least 35.0 DK points in six of the Mavericks' last seven games. During that stretch, the rookie has averaged 21.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 33.9 minutes per contest. Now, he'll have another chance to put up strong numbers against one of the worst defenses in the league.
Norman Powell, Heat
($6,900) vs. Raptors
The veteran swingman has remained a consistent contributor for the Heat and is on pace to average a career-high 24.6 points per game. Powell has reached the 20-point threshold in four of his last five appearances, averaging 25.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.0 steals in 31.6 minutes per tilt during that span. He has yet to record fewer than 20.0 DK points this season and has provided at least 31.5 in 14 of his 20 regular-season outings.
Value Picks
Kyle Filipowski, Jazz
($5,400) vs. Mavericks
With Jusuf Nurkic resting Monday, Filipowski is likely to get the starting nod against Dallas. When the second-year center started without Nurkic on Dec. 4 in a win over Brooklyn, he posted 37.0 DK points. Filipowski has tallied at least 26.8 DK points in five of his last six appearances, during which he has averaged 12.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.2 steals in 29.3 minutes per tilt.
Ausar Thompson, Pistons
($5,100) at Celtics
Thompson has finished with double-digit points in four consecutive contests, during which he has averaged 12.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.5 steals in 24.8 minutes per contest. During a Nov. 26 loss to Boston, the 22-year-old forward posted 24.5 DK points. He has reached that mark in five of his last six appearances.
Tim Hardaway, Nuggets
($4,200) vs. Rockets
Hardaway continues to provide a spark off the bench for Denver and has scored in double figures in eight straight games. The veteran forward has generated at least 19.0 DK points in seven of those eight games, during which he has averaged 14.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 27.4 minutes per game.
