Best NBA Bets Today (Saturday, Feb. 7)

San Antonio Spurs vs. Dallas Mavericks: Victor Wembanyama over 11.5 rebounds, +108 @ FanDuel

Even though the odds are a bit high here, Wembanyama should have every chance in the world to dominate the glass against the Mavericks. The star big man is coming off back-to-back double-doubles, and that includes a 29-point, 11-rebound effort against Dallas on Feb. 5. He's grabbed at least 10 rebounds in eight of his last 11 appearances and has cleared this line of 11.5 boards four times over his last seven outings. Wembanyama is averaging 23.9 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.4 blocks per game since the beginning of January, and if he stays on the court long enough, he should be able to hover around this line rather easily. The matchup is also favorable for Wembanyama, as the Mavericks will use a combination of Daniel Gafford, Moussa Cisse and Dwight Powell at center -- three players Wembanyama can easily win duels against.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Sacramento Kings: Kings to cover +12.5-point spread, -115 @ BetMGM

The Cavaliers are the better team on paper and shouldn't have problems defeating a Kings team that is among the worst in the NBA this season. However, several factors should be considered when analyzing this game. The Cavaliers are playing on the road for a third straight game, and while they're coming off wins over the Trail Blazers and Clippers, it wouldn't be surprising if they start feeling tired legs, especially as they're playing in a different time zone. Plus, James Harden (recently traded) could make his debut here, and while he's an upgrade over Darius Garland, there's also an adjustment process that needs to happen from a tactical perspective. None of that should prevent the Cavaliers from beating a reeling Kings team on an 11-game losing streak, but it wouldn't be surprising if the Kings manage to keep it closer than what the spread indicates. They've lost by single digits in four of their last five defeats.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Phoenix Suns: Joel Embiid over 29.5 points, -104 @ DraftKings

Embiid's point line is the highest of the slate, but the star big man should be able to feast in a matchup against a Suns team that's not known for being a dominant one in terms of rim protection. As things stand now, the Suns will feature some combination of Mark Williams, Oso Ighodaro and Khaman Maluach at center. They don't have the athleticism to deal with Embiid, who has been playing at a high level of late, and that boosts his chances of clearing this line. He's coming off a 35-point performance in the loss to the Lakers on Thursday. Even though Embiid is listed as questionable due to management of a right knee injury, if he suits up, he should be in line for another dominant outing.
