Best NBA Bets Today (Monday, February 2)

Ty Jerome O1.5 made three-pointers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves (+110)

DraftKings Sportsbook, 4:10pm ET

Nick Whalen: Jerome made his season debut on Saturday against this same Wolves team and put up 20 points -- and attempted seven threes -- in less than 20 minutes of action. We can't just assume that same volume will necessarily apply, but the Grizzlies are still without Ja Morant, Santi Aldama, Scotty Pippen Jr. and John Konchar, so Jerome should again have plenty of opportunity.

Dominick Barlow O5.5 points

Underdog, Sleeper, 4:15pm ET

Jeremy Schneider: Barlow isn't known for his scoring, but he's topped 5.5 points in five of his past eight games. With Paul George suspended, Barlow returned to the starting lineup Saturday and put up eight points in 28 minutes. If he sees another 20-plus minute workload (as anticipated), I like Barlow's chances to hit the over on this line.

Minnesota Timberwolves at Memphis Grizzlies over 229.5 (-112)

DraftKings Sportsbook - 5:00pm ET

Kirien Sprecher Katzmarek: As of this writing, Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle are questionable for this contest, which has me hesitant about props and the spread. However, I don't think the superstars' availability will have a major impact on the total. If Edwards and Randle play, it's good for the over because they are two of the more efficient scorers in the league. If they don't, Minnesota will take a major hit defensively, and it would mean more minutes for offensive-first guys like Bones Hyland and Naz Reid. The over has hit in four of Memphis' last five games and in six of the last eight games between these teams.

Indiana Pacers +6.5 vs. Houston Rockets (-110)

DraftKings Sportsbook - 5:00pm ET

Kirien Sprecher Katzmarek: I'm following the trends with this one. The Rockets are 4-12 ATS in their last 16, while the Pacers are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games. Indiana has outright won three of its last four, including a win over OKC, and has been playing better since getting Bennedict Mathurin back in action. On the other side, Kevin Durant will be unavailable, and Steven Adams is done for the season, testing Houston's frontcourt depth in the short term.
