Best NBA Bets Today

P.J. Washington over 15.5 points (-110) at Utah Jazz

BetMGM, 4:00 PM CT

Alex Barutha: Utah has been one of the worst defensive teams all season, but they've stooped to a new low by allowing 127.2 points per 48 minutes across the past 10 games. They also allow the fifth-most points off spot-up attempts (32.0) and fifth-most points off transition opportunities (26.8), which are two areas in which Washington scores a lot of his buckets. Also, Anthony Davis and Daniel Gafford are both questionable, so they might be less than 100 percent if they play.

Duncan Robinson over 2.5 made threes (-137) at Boston Celtics

DraftKings, 1:38 PM CT

Nick Whalen: We're simply playing the hits, as this number has been among the more bankable props in the NBA this season. Entering Monday, Robinson has a least three three-pointers made in 17 of 23 games, and he gets a matchup against a Boston team allowing the most three-point attempts in the NBA over the last five games at over 45 per game. Volume-wise, Robinson has attempted at least six threes in 14 straight games and is averaging 8.4 attempts per game in that span.

Kawhi Leonard over 9.5 REB+AST (-110) vs. Memphis Grizzlies

FanDuel, 1:38 PM CT

Nick Whalen: With three days off since the Clippers' last game, we should get a fresh version of Leonard in a winnable game for the Clippers, who finally return home for their first game in Los Angeles since Nov. 29. Leonard's assist production has been a bit spotty this season, but this should be a pace-up spot for the Clippers, who may be without James Harden (calf) tonight, leading to increased playmaking responsibility for Leonard. Meanwhile, has grabbed at least seven rebounds in four of his last six games, including in a matchup against the Grizzlies on Dec. 5, when he finished with eight boards and four assists in 35 minutes.

Lauri Markkanen over 7.5 rebounds (+112) vs. Dallas Mavericks

DraftKings, 4 PM ET

Ken Crites: The Jazz host the Mavs tonight, with Anthony Davis and Daniel Gafford both possibly making their return to the Dallas lineup. The Jazz are missing C Jusuf Nurkic tonight and his 9.6 boards per game. That means PF Markkanen will need to step up.  Nurkic's replacement, Kyle Filipowski, is not a strong rebounder (5.7 rebounds per game in 7 starts this season).  I suspect if both/either Davis and/or Gafford play, they'll be on a minutes restriction. Over Markkanen's last six games, he's averaged 8.2 boards per game.  He is also a better rebounder at home, averaging 7.2 boards at home versus 6.1 on the road. The K-Train is 8-3 on the season and 58-46 overall, so feel free to fade!
